Problem nastepujacej tresci:
Instalujac gentoo 2004.2 z livecd robilem to z kernela smp, wszystko z networkiem (lan - dhcp) bylo cacy. Po pierwszym reboocie system sie uruchamial, ale siec nie dzialala. Pomoglo modprobe 8139too (mam sieciowke na 8139 realteka), jednak po nastepnym restarcie znow nie dziala...i tak w kolko. Kernel to 2.6.7-gentoo-r11, dodam, ze wkompilowalem net na stale w jadra, ale tez nie dzialalo.
PS. Pomocny bedzie zapewnie komunikat, ktory wyswietla mi sie po starcie Gentoo:

Wlaczenie modulu 3c59x (hint z tego forum) nie pomoglo.

Co to znaczy, ze "wkompilowalem net na stale w jadra"??
Bo jak zaladowales modul 8139too, to jednak chyba masz sieciowke jako modul?? Nie rozumiem.
Jezeli problem w tym, ze sie modul 8139too nie laduje na poczatku, to dodaj np. do
/etc/modules.d/aliases linijke:
alias eth0 8139too |

To znaczy, ze ustawilem w kernelu 8139 jako built-in.
UPDATE: Problem rozwiazany - zrobilem jak mowiles. Thx.
