Hello all,

I've exported all my databases from my FC2 MySQL 3.23 install using phpmyadmin. Now I've got Gentoo 2004.2 installed, and with it MySQL 4. Can I just use phpmyadmin and import the .sql file? Thanks for any advise - I've never moved my db before.

It depends quite a bit on what features you're using, not using, built your tables, etc. Probably the best resource to be looking at is:
