|
|
Hey I've been searching around for this but I can't seem to find it for grub.
I have linux as my default grub selection, but when I want to reboot into windows, I don't want to sit at my computer and make the selection for windows in the beginning, I want to tell grub before I reboot that only for the next boot up, switch to windows instead of linux.
I saw that LILO has this functionality when you do:
# lilo -R dos
# reboot
Thus dos becomes the default only for the next boot.
Any idea if grub can do this? |

make a script that loads a sepp grub.conf file before reboot that makes windows default, and then once your ready to make linux default, just use the script to swich back to the old grub.conf, other than that, I dont know is grub has one, is this just a convience, or do you really need it to do that? _________________ Gentoo Linux 2004.2 - gentoo-sources (2.4.26-gentoo-r6)
