Login not possible after language pack install

Hello,
I've (post)installed on my KDE 3.2.3 the german language patck with LINGUAS="de" emerge kde-i18n. After that the users can't login into the GUI any more (tested also with Gnome, FluxBox, etc). The access is only possible for root.
The errormessage after the failed user session is following:
