I'am trying to emerge KDE. But it failes:

hey man, i was having the same problem and was looking through the forums......give this a try...

Did that link fix either of your problems??? I'm having the same error, so I'm gonna try it. If it didn't fix it, I was just curious as to whether or not you found something else to do that fixed it...
