Hi all,
I just set up authentication with ldap. Works great, I can log in, log out, whatever, but
I still have user entries in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow. If they're removed, some things don't work anymore. I can then still log in, but
1. As root: passwd <user> gives me a
"passwd: Authentication token manipulation error"
2. thunderbird cant be started anymore
The error is "run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 13095 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}"
As soon as the entries in passwd and shadow are back, everything works as it should...
Any ideas, help, links?
TIA Tom |
