i am trying to reinstall gentoo onto my computer. the liveCD i downloaded has a corupted stage3 instal. i got a new stage3 and portage on another cd. i use gentoo -cdcache, at the beging durring the boot up but still cannot get the cdrom to unmount so i can change out cd's....any suggestions?

Did you try using the eject command? Do you get an error message when you umount or can you just not take the CD out?

the eject command comes back with an error that it is not recognized and when you try to umount /mnt/cdrom.....it says that the device is busy. it says it is busy cause it is the op system but when i use -cdcache it should cache the op sys so that the drive can be used but it isnt working.
