After following this tutorial http://odin.prohosting.com/wedge01/gentoo-radeon-faq.html step by step i thought i had the drivers ready. X starts ok and everything but when i type glxinfo the output says that GLX is missing on display 0:0. I looked in my XF86Config-4 file and
Code:
 load "glx"
is in there. I am using a SiS Bridge Chipset and have compiled the kernel with the modules for this. lsmod shows that all of the required modules are loaded but i still get this error.

What have i done wrong?[/code]

Are you using xorg-x11 or xfree?

if xorg-x11 I'd put that line in the xorg.conf file
if using xfree you might want to try XF86Config without the -4.
