Hello. I am looking for a full screen mp3 player program. I use my old desktop running Gentoo as a stereo component. I want to be able to see what song is playing from across the room. Does anyone know of such software? Thanks. |

If you run a low-res console, you can try mp3-blaster. Or xmms in doublesize mode... I would also love to see a full-screen audio-player.
And what's that GNOME2-application I've seen people play audio with in these forums? Can't seem to find it...

Are you alluding to rhythmbox? If so, it's masked. I have got this thing to comile but it was nothing special. It certainly looks like it has potential though..
Also, you might try looking at this http://staff.washington.edu/jmgasper/
