Make a complete backup, reformat with mkfs.reiser4 and put the backup back. :D

yes and no, you need to make a copy of your data and reformat your root device... There's no "conversion" tool (yet) if that's what your're looking for

Hrm, was hoping it would be simpler. Do you guys have any links on how exactly one goes about "backing up" an entire OS, as I've never done it before. I could probably manage it on Windows, but for Linux... :?: Do I just back up the entire contents of "/" and then put them back after I remake my file system? How'd you that?

Oh and what would be the creation command? "mkreiser4"?

Just have a look for it through /sbin.... mkfs.reiser4 is probably a good place to start.

partimage would be a good tool for that, it's in portage
