Hi,

I want to setup a standalone domain with samba... Eventually I want this situation...

1. Users need to get a single logon (on a single samba server).
2. Users need to print via the network (through the samba server).
3. Users need a roaming profile (on the samba server).
4. Users need some common disk space (on the samba server).
5. Some apps need to be run from the samba server, ie like openoffice...

If anybody has setup something like this, please let me know... Any tips? Useful configs? Any pitfalls I should watch for? Any good tutorials?

Regards,
Pascal de Bruijn

Thanks for the reply, but i've already found a good tutorial here:
http://www.hughesjr.com/content/view/24/30/Guides

Also I bought:
http://phptr.com/title/0131472216

Which is a very good book about NT4 PDC's with samba!
