ECS L7S7A2 mobo - sound problems

I cant my sound working on my mobo (L7S7A2, more info here:
http://www.ecsusa.com/products/l7s7a2.html). I'm using gentoo whith kernel
2.4. Any one have the same problem, or know how to make it work?

I'm using an ECS L7VTA2 ver2.0 board with 2.6 kernel. I set up alsa and everything worked, except I can't play cds. But thats a different problem.

I used gekernel to compile my kernel and I'm using KDE. Have you looked at this guide yet? http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/alsa-guide
