anyone knows a programm that converts a pdf or txt file to palm pdb format so it can read using eReader or other palmdoc-readers?
i have a really good java-programm for windows:

I think that xpdf comes with a program called pdftotext. Haven't tried it myself.
Also, for more formatting, app-text/pdftohtml converts pdfs to html.
Not sure about the software for converting to a pdb file though.
However, have you tried Plucker? It's an opensource offline reader for PalmOS. There is a converter for Linux as well.
You can get Plucker from http://www.plkr.org/. (And plucker.sf.net redirects to that site).
Or, you could even get a program that reads txt files natively (off of a memory card). Eg, SiED can read and edit txt files. _________________ rcxAsh |
