AGP GART not found / video trouble with xorg/nitro-sources

i have i810 on board. i'm installing 2.6.8.1 nitro on my pc.
when i configure xorg, by Xorg -configure or i use my xorg.conf which works with 2.6.7-gentoo-r11 and doesn't work with nitro, it tell me that /dev/agpgart not found or its not working and AGP GART support is not availabel.

how do i make agp gart work with nitro-sources? 2.6.7-gentoo-r11 works fine when i use my old xorg.conf before i tried installing nitro.

please help me out here. there arent many posts about this and some of them are in german and others dont have freaky intel video card.

Edit: Solved. all i had to do is enable agp gart on drivers --> character

You probably still need to enable it in your kernel. In my gentoo 2.6.7 kernel it's under Device Drivers ---> Character devices. I don't know if it's the same in your nitro config but it's probably somewhat similar.
