|
|
Hello!
I use XFree4.4 (due to the recommendation) with lookingglass - or better - for using lookingglass.
I have emerged lookingglass-bin and get a problem: lg3d-dev starts without any problem and presents me a nice desktop in a kde window. Without much functionality - seems like demo.
If I want to start lg3d-session it requires me to shut-down XFree (/etc/init.d/xdm stop) and when I start it from a console it starts XFree and then I receive rubbish on the screen (no lookingglass - just some blue unidentified graphical rubbish) and the system freezes.
Is there a howto how to install lookingglass and how to set it up!? If I choose it in kdm as session, it logs the user in and returns immediately to kdm without entering lookingglass.
Thx in advance. |

When I was reading about looking glass I heard people could only get it to run windowed. It crashed otherwise. That was when they announced it'd first be released though... _________________ Ubuntu Linux Dapper Drake running Gnome-2.14.1
