Okay, I had my mouse working before. But, I installed some new hardware (new video card, power supply). I had some trouble and burned my floppy up (which in turn, ruined my d drive (which had gentoo on it)). I replaced all broken parts and had to reinstall linux. I got it all installed with out any hitches. I installed fluxbox and ran startx. My mouse doesn't work now. I read www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/x194.html and installed everything it said. I rebooted, startx, and it still doesn't work. I went through the Desktop help and it said to install:
usbmouse
mousedev
hid
usbcore
usb-uhci
input
I could only find a couple of those. Could some one point me as to where to find them? I wish I could remember what I did... Thanks for your help.

drop usbmouse if you want to use (hid, input, mousedev, usbcore, usb-uhci) or drop these ones to use usbmouse. |
