Hey,
I'm trying to get ivman running but I've run into a problem. I emerged dbus, hal, and ivman from the breakmygentoo.net ebuilds. I've mapped hdd to cdrom0 wich should make everything work.
The problem is ivman asks for the wrong hal device id. Or something like that. I get this error:
Code: | No property storage.device_type on device with id /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/block_CDROM |
I used lshal to check it out. block_CDROM exists but theres no properties for it. What it should be looking for is "block_22_64" which has all the information for my cd drive! So is there a way to tell ivman to get the info from a different id, or a way to set a hal id manually?
Thanks,
-mike |
