SSH tunneled web page trouble

I've been using Putty to tunnel back to my Gentoo box to test different web portal software. Egroupware, Owl etc all seem to work OK but Mambo refuses to show any graphics or CSS. If I'm on the local network Mambo is fine. I have not been able to open the firewall to test it directly.

Any ideas?

check the URLs it's using to reference the CSS and images. If it's using fully qualified URLs (http://myserver.com/image.gif) you may be out of luck. Other than that it should just work.
