If you want a problem solved you've to give us something to work with, because I can come up with three possible reasons for why you still have your problem.

I won't try to help you if everything I try is a long shot, therefore give me some more information. Have you patched your game? Which installer have you used? Have you searched google.com for your problem? .. and so on.

You did the most important thing though, giving the output. Sometimes thats just not enough you know.

I'm using the last version... 226, and (as I say) I have emerged it... (so I haven't use any installer.. just "emerge unreal"...

I really don't know what the problem is.. I've tried to search with google... UT, UT2004 and Quake3 works well...

Do you have an original copy of the game or the gold version?

Edit: I'm off to bed. So if you have the gold version or the Return ot Na Pali one, you should check out this site: http://icculus.org/~ravage/unreal/unrealgold/ - it also has the link to the Na Pali installer.

I have unreal gold ...... and even efter installing ut-436, the installer for unreal-gold did not work . (it used to work fine a couple years back though)...

However,,,,, there is good news..

Both Unreal and Unreal Gold will install via cedega (winex)

So just try that out...... if you don't have cedega.. it also installs via wine
