I recently purchased "Linux Unwired" (O'Reilly Associates, Roger Weeks, Edd Dumbill, Brian Jepson). This book is an absolutely indespensible introduction and refernce volume for anyone who wants to connect their Linux machine to a wireless network. In short order, the authors cover a wide variety of topics (technologies, concepts, protocols, and hardware) in a way that's easy to understand and apply as well as providing a fair amount of reference material (installation and configuration). Also: This book's recent publication date - April, 2004 - means that the information contained therein is up-to-date.

I recommend this book to WLAN-users of any experience-level.
