I've installed ut2k3 in windows. Now, I want to run it in gentoo also.
Do I have to install it all over again with linux_in.sh ?
Or is there anyway to just copy the needed bins, like quake3 ?

Thanks

Yeah, and that would be another 2.7 gigas :?

So, you say I can't use a common install to windows and linux version ... ?
I guess I'll just install it all again and then check for common files and link them. Maybe I can save up some space.

If anyone shows up interest I might then post the common file list.

Just do the full install under linux. Then remove the the Maps, Music, Sounds, StaticMeshes and Textures directories and replace them with links to the same directories in your windows installation. Works for me

That's what I did, but I didnt remove Map nor Sounds. These two are bigger than Windows ones. Map has the same number of files, but they're all bigger. Sounds has almost the double of files than the Windows Sounds.

The reason the Nix install is bigger is because you get the luxuray of not needing the cd in the drive to play like in windows :D It copies extra files from cd 1 aka the "Play Disc".
