i have emerged apache, and set it to start at boot time, but i'm having trouble configuring it.

in my home dir, i have public_html/index.html, which i can see when i go to 127.0.0.1/~paul/ - but i'm trying to get cgi enabled too.
i'd like to have /home/paul/cgi-bin as the dir with my binaries in - but i don't know how to get this done.

anyone with experience of apache to help out?

cheers,
paul

The stock Gentoo apache setup is designed to have the userdir cgi-bin directory be ~/public_html/cgi-bin.
