Hi,
hab eben 2004.2 per LiveCD installiert und stehe vor folgendem Problem:
Beim Bootvorgang werd ich auf folgende Art nach meiner Root-Partition gefragt:

>> The root block device is unspecified or not detected.
Please specify a device to boot, or "shell" for a shell
boot() ::

Meine Platte ist wie folgt partitioniert:
hda1 windows
hda2 linux-boot
hda3 linux-swap
hda4 linux-root
Wenn ich /dev/hda4 eingebe bootet er einwandfrei.
Weiß nur nicht warum diese Meldung kommt. Meine grub.conf sieht so aus:

kernel (hd0,1)/kernel-2.6.7-gentoo-r11 root=/dev/ram0 real_boot=/dev/hda4 init=/linuxrc video=vesafb:ywrap,mtrr vga=0x31a
initrd (hd0,1)/initrd-2.6.7-gentoo-r11
...

Weiß nicht was ich falsch gemacht hab....
Hat jemand ne Idee ?

Sollte es nicht real_root heißen?

Das mir das nicht aufgefallen ist. Hab den Fehler sogar hier ins Forum abgetippt ohne daß es mir auffiel...
