Hello, what to speed up the few kde,qt, gnome apps i have on my laptop, i try to use gtk apps whenever possible so don't need whole system prelinked.
What would be the best dir listing for /etc/prelink.conf to acheive this?

Ok i am going to try prelink.conf with only these dir allowed:

-l /usr/libexec
-l /usr/kde
-l /usr/qt
|
Any reason this should not work?

Ok tried it with those settings and got number of errors, here are a few:

prelink: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXcursor.so.1.0 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command lineprelink: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.so.2.1 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line
prelink: /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2.6.11 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line
prelink: /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0.400.5 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line
prelink: /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so.6.3 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line
prelink: /usr/lib/libORBit-2.so.0.0.0 is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line
prelink: /lib/libresolv-2.3.3.so is not present in any config file directories, nor was specified on command line

i have commented out the dir referenced in above.
Any ideas where i am going wrong?
Do some dir have to be included?
