xorg ist einwandfrei emerged, dann kann:
sys-apps/utempter-0.5.5.5 und
x11-terms/xterm-191
nicht mehr. Es giebt immer diese Fehlermeldung:

Wie kriege ich utempter installiert?
Ich habe auch die Vorgängerversion probiert, die stoppt mit dem gleichen Fehler.

Ich hab es jetzt einfach mal ausprobiert, und Xorg läuft einwandfrei.
KDE und Fluxbox laufen sauber, die Schriften sind im Moment noch etwas unsauberer als unter Xfree. Sieht aus als ob Antialiasing noch nicht aktiviert ist.
Wofür brauche ich utempter und xterm-191 überhaupt?

Sagen doch eigentlich die Paketbeschreibungen recht deutlich:

Bist du von xfree86 gekommen? Fontpfade in der /etc/X11/xorg.conf angepasst? (Jetzt /usr/share/fonts/..)

Danke Ian, ja ich hatte vorher xfree.
Bezüglich Fonts:
Der Fontpath für die XF86Config wurde vom Installer automatisch geändert, die Ordner darin stimmen.
Trotzdem waren die alten Schriften feiner. (Sie hatten nur nach dem Scrollen manchmal Fehler in der Anzeige)
Bezüglich utempter:
Unter xfree hatte ich keine "utempter" und "xterm-191"
Daher kann ich mir auch nicht vorstellen welche Anwendungen die unter Xorg benötigen, die sie unter Xfree nicht hatten.
Unter Fluxbox hatte ich doch auch schonmal xterm installiert nur dort gab es keine Abhängigkeit für utempter.
Wäre k3b solch eine Applikation, die davon profitiert?
