Trying to boot; I get:
...
Starting pci hotplugging...
Kernel panic: loop 1
In interrupt handler- not syncing
System:Intel Ca810 Board with 500 mHz Celeron
20 gHz Adaptec SCSI (AHA2924) running with PCI adapter board
128 m Ram (Soon to be more)
Ethernet
pci modem (DSL not available yet
installing from live cd Kernel-2.4.26-gentoo-r6
Install cd boots and runs fine. Startup script looks like it's being viewed through pebble-grained glass until close to where it stops, then it runs clear text for a couple of screens. Ideas? _________________ "I don't practice what I preach, 'cause I'm not the kind of man I'm preachin' to." |

Now, I know nothing about PCI-hotpluging, but "loop 1" sounds like the completely unrelated loop-back devices used to mount .iso files and others. _________________ Part of "The adopt an unanswered post initiative" |
