Ciao a tutti. Ho dei problemi nel creare il filesystem su un disco SCSI che prima era su una SUN ed adesso è su un pc. Credo di essere io che faccio una cavolata però. E' possibile creare un filesystem tipo reiserfs su questi dischi?
Fdisk funziona. Creo le due partizioni che mi servono e di default sono tipo 83 Linux native. Ma se provo a creare qualsiasi tipo di filesystem linux non funziona dicendomi | Quote: | | Stat of the device '/dev/sdb1' failed |
Posso creare solo filesystem SUN? E se si lo standard va bene per dischi che non devono essere utilizzati per /, swap &C. ??

Eppure al boot il disco è riconosciuto. |

Sbaglio o lo start di sdb2 é uguale a quello di sdb1?
secondo me questo non va bene... Prova a rifarle tutte e magari usa cfdisk.

Si meglio che usi cfdisk che e' piu' intuitivo e non rischi di fare casini

Se dai un
riesci ad ottenere lo stat delle flag del disco?
Non ti serve per risolvere il problema, ma almeno vedi se altri software ti generano lo stesso problema  |

Confonde un po' le idee la formattazione.. sdb1 va da 0 a 17379, sdb2 da 17379 a 17429... Con fdisk e questo disco era impossibile impostare il valore iniziale della partizione sdb2 a finale_sdb1+1 cioè 17380, dovevo per forza digitare quel numero.
Grazie a cfdisk funziona tutto.. Non so il perchè ma poco importa.
