Man I'm kicking myself. Finished the entire build of the system, and realized i didn't have the alsa useflag... Is there hope, or must I re-compile the whole shebang because of the tiny missing word -_- Yes, I"m kicking myself

If you dont get sound, then I belive it should be enough to just re-emerge arts with useflag alsa _________________ The sentence below this one is true.

I did that, and I ~kinda~ get sound, but its not analog, I belive its attempting digital, perhaps theres an alsa config file I missed somewhere *hrms*

I should also note that ALSA is not in my device list for the KDE controll center for audio. I remember it being there before :-\. I'll try what yous aid one more time just incase. |

Hehe funny :p I re-compiled arts and, thank god, it shows alsa int he list. Its still outputting to the wrong ports though, is there some kinda mystical alsa config text file somewhere per chance? |
