I don't use the qt lib...
I think every thread so far where people have mentioned dc++ people reply try dc_gui. I don't won`t dc_gui i won't dc++ becose i like the features of it.
It's like replying to someone asking for installation advice try fedora it works without any damned bootstrapping....
So anyone what version off DC++ can be run resonably stable with wine? |

Besides, another problem with dc_gui or dcgui is that 90% of hub operators will kick you out for not using dc++. |

Only thing what I miss from Windows, is DC++
DCGUI-QT (0.3.3) is pretty ok but it would be great to see Linux port of DC++ |

I managed to get it working after a while.
I added this to my .wine/config
Code: |
[AppDefaults\\DCPlusPlus.exe\\dlloverrides]
"*" = "builtin,native,so"
"comctl32" = "native"
"riched20" = "native"
|
copyed my dc++ installation from my win partion.
I run 0.401 without any problems at all.
If you want to install thorugh wine you have to edit the xml files instaled with dc++ manually.
Acctualy once you have a working xml file you can edit it the normal way through settings.
If anyone is intressed i can post mine here... |
