hi,
does anyone know what is the difference between
what is better?
i ask because i use XFree but most people (i think) use Xorg!
i have no problems with XFree but i want to install Xorg if it is better! _________________ The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.

Xorg is just a fork from Xfree. with recent relesae XFree has changed its licensing (not sure what exactly it changed, but it seems to go against the open source way). As such debian,gentoo, and most other distros i believe, are moving over to XOrg as this still has the original licensing. At the moment there is very little difference between the two, but as XOrg progresses you may want to change then, but for now if XFree is working i wouldn't bother changing |

I think this question has been posed enough already, I don't normally say this but: search before you post, I'm getting sick of the Xorg vs XFree topics.
