Ciao 
E' da un po' che giro per trovare una buona alternativa a pcanywhere per il pinguino free.
Vnc lo conosco e lo uso da tanto, ma non fa per me, ho bisogno del modem e del callback 
NetOp e' a pagamento, e usare wine per impazzire nel tentativo di far funzionare pcanywhere non mi pare il caso (anche perche' proprio su questo forum leggevo di qualcuno in inglese che con crossover non c'era riuscito.
Insomma non esiste qualcosa tipo pappa pronta? 
In effetti potrei installare un bel pppd con il supporto per callback, ma forse (e dico forse c'e' qualcosa di utile.
Freshmeat non e' stato di molto aiuto stavolta

Mica ha il callback Tu dai per scontato che i due pc abbiano una qualche sorta di connessione, io invece la dovrei tirare su solo per il minimo tempo necessario. Pcanywhere da esattamente l'idea |

| se non trovi niente di gia pronto ti serve solo uno demone di callback per stabilire la connessione, e poi utilizzare vnc ! |

Un demone di callback, mi viene in mente solo pppd.. tu ne conosci altri? |

Fa riferimento ad un howto vecchissimo (redhat 5.0) che poi parla appunto di pppd
