Hello!

I have try to emerge idesk with both pentium-3 and pentium-m flag, but I can't get to start. This is the errors I get:

Code:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
    what(): basic_string:substr
Avbruten (SIGABRT)

I had the exact same problem a few months ago, and never did get it resolved. I tried to find an answer with google and no go.

I've found out that my problem is only happen when I'm at my usuall account. Idesk works with a su-account.

Code:

bash-2.05b$ idesk

I don't use iDesk, but if it works from a different user account, try deleting all the configuration files for it in ~/. Not sure what the subdirectory will be, but it will probably be named something like ".idesk" or something like that. Try doing it from a different regular acct, instead of just su'ing to root. If it works as root, but not as a different user, you're looking at a permissions or groups problem. Good luck! :D
