|

Hi good people,
I was wanting a console based email client that can pop mail from my home server. I like just using the "mail <recipient>" command to send from desktop or laptop (in 'X not available' type situations), but replies come back to server. Outgoing sendmail by-passes the server sendmail and that'll work for me I think.
How can I retrieve replies off server from console (both inside and outside lan) in a really simple manner? I don't really wanna forward mail from server, I'd rather grab it when the need arises. Using /var/spool/mail/<user> mbox type mailboxes on all.
thanks in advance,

I use mutt. It'll do POP3 with the <G> key. You have to hack your muttrc file first though ![Very Happy :D](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |

Fetchmail huh? I've heard of that. Is it a deamon or can one just call it up when wanted? Well, I think I'll install it and see what happens. Thanks!
