Hi,
I've got a really weird xfce4 problem. If I start it, it gets started without any window decoration, so basicly it seems like no wm is running. However, if for example I just start X with an xterm, then start xfwm4, the xterm gets the window decorations, but if I start xfce4 afterward it still doesn't recognize xfwm4 is running.
To make this even stranger, if I start xfce4 as a different user it works without a problem. Now one would think that removing .xfce4 from my user's home directory would help, but it doesn't.
If I start xfce4 from a xterm the only message I get is:
Code: | _IceTransOpen: Unable to Parse address |
but that doesn't really help me.
I'm truly lost, any ideas? _________________ The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows.
