|
|
Should I? or Shouldn't I?
I have a SoundBlaster Live! Value Soundcard and a 4.1 speaker system (two front, two back, s/w)/ I've been reading in other forums that in order to have all channels functional I would need to install ALSA.
If true, how would I go about installing ALSA? Please be as detailed as possible. |

I suggest before you emerge ALSA, you check out gentoo's ALSA guide. _________________ Registered linux user #366586

I am finding all the links here.
Then if you click on gentoo desktop documentation repository you will find your ALSA, KDE, etc. There are also a load of information in there just explore around. _________________ Registered linux user #366586
