i could have sworn i saw a thread called something like
HOWTO: gentoo router
or firewall,
but ive spent almost a whole day searching (over the past week) for it. if anyone knows where it is i would greatly appriciate a link to it.
maybe im just seeing things |

Aloha !!!
With tears im my eye (Im a real Gentoo freak) I have to admid you should not use Gentoo for this.
That is.... if you are just a simple home user...
Gentoo is wayyyyyyyyyyy to big to act as a simple firewall. Installing maintaining is to much work..
What you should do is this :
Take a 80486 with 64 Mb of RAM, and a 150Mb (or more) IDE HD and go to :
www.ipcop.org
Don't forget to install the updates....
