Hallo, ich möchte Gentoo auf einem Notebook mit ali-Chipsatz installieren. Aufgrund eines Bugs im Zusammenhang mit dem Ali-Treiber hängt sich das System beim booten auf (Kernel panic). Mandrake-Linux konnte ich trotzdem installieren, indem ich beim boot-promt folgende Angaben mitgab.
ide0=0x1f0,0x3f6,14 idebus=60
Unter Gentoo und Redhat funktioniert dies leider nicht. Nebst dem habe ich unter Redhat auch eine eigene Bootdisk gemacht, wo ich die Ali-Treiber deaktivierte. Mit dieser Bootdisk konnte ich zwar booten, aber ich hatte keinen Zugriff auf die Festplatte. 
 Hat jemand Erfahrung mit Ali-Notebooks? Gibt es einen String, den ich beim booten mitgeben kann? Oder hat sogar jemand eine Kernelconfig-Datei für ein xe4400, xe4500 oder ein ähnliche Hardware?

Beim bootpromt rescue ide2=0x180,0x386 pci=off eingeben und die Kiste läuft.
