Hallo

Ich habe ein lästiges Problem und keine AHnung wie ich das Lösen soll. Und zwar hab ich Gentoo neu aufgesetzt, nach dem Booten von der LiveCD geht alles einwandfrei, wenn ich anschließend rebooten dann geht auch alles, bis auf das Netzwerk.
Ok, ich mag ein Noob sein, es liegt aber NICHT daran das die Module nicht geladen sind ...

Ich habe alles im Kernel, hab 2 Interfaces, eine 3com Karte und ein Intel-onboardchip, es werden auch beide Interfaces gefunden und ich kann auch beiden eine IP geben, es ist auch überall ein Link vorhanden, allerdings hab ich kein Netzwerk (kann nichts pingen), obwohl ich alles genau wie auf der livecd gmacht hab .... Ist mir unerklärlich, denn nach dem Booten von Livecd gehts wieder.

Der einzige offensichtliche Unterschied zur Livecd ist, das sie auf der Livecd als module geladen werden und andernfalls eben fix im Kernel sind, aba i wüßt ned warums daran liegen sollte.

Hat wer eine Idee?

Hi,
hast du das interface mit net-setup eth0 konfiguriert und mit rc-update add net.eth0 default in die runlevel aufgenommen?

hallo

danke für deine prompte antwort, habe ich aber alles gemacht.

ifconfig eth1 192.168.10.11 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.10.255
route add default gw 192.168.10.254

link ist vorhanden, ich krieg auch keine fehlermeldung wenn ich das eingebe, bei der livecd funktioniert es genauso und hat eigentlich schon immer so funktioniert. Nur seit kurzem nicht mehr!!

ich krieg immer icmp - host unreachable zurück ...

obwohl es egal ist, ob ich das kabel an eth0 od. eth1 ansteck, überall selbes problem ..

hallo,

wird beim booten das "netservice" gestartet?

sprich: wenn du eingeloggt bist, was sagt "/etc/init.d/net.<yourdev> status"??
dh: rc-update add net.<yourdev> default hast du ausgeführt...?

irgendwas verdächtiges sonst im log?

ja, ist alles gestartet

Das Netzwerkinterface eth1 hat auch eine IP und wird bei ifconfig auch angezeigt mit dieser IP. Und auch an diesem Interface ist das Netzwerkkabel angeschlossen, ist mir total unerklärlich!

Das Problem ist ja auch, das ich nur über ssh arbeiten kann, also derzeit ist von CD gestartet und i mag ned die 100km zum Server fahrn! ;-)

So wirkli was brauchbares hätt ich nicht gsehn in den logfiles.

Ist das da zufällig auchs so, dass es total lange dauert, bis das Login-Fenster erscheint?

Ich hatte das Problem, bei mir musste ich (glaube ich) in die /etc/hosts meinen Router (also Hostnamen und Adresse) eintragen. Ich hatte mal ne Seite, wo das erklärt wird - wenns gar nicht klappt, such ich die dir mal raus..
