I just built a new computer with a 16x DVD burner and an SATA drive. I just tried burning a DVD and its burning at 2.4x while this DVD burner is known to make the current media avalible(4x) burn at 8x. Im starting to do research on this but im wondering if anyone knows of any tips or of any good resources?

What software do you use to burn a DVD? cdrecord?

| cdrecord-ProDVD with xcdroast as a gui. Id use k3b but libglademm has a bug in it(its in bugzilla) so I have to wait till thats cleared up. |
