Im using fluxbox here, but ive kde installed.
I aways run kde aplication without problem. Today this started:

I dont know why... like i open konqueror a popup message saying about some error to connect to DCOP... and the code above was when i attemped to run kscd in console...
what could this be? |

DCOP is the interprocess comunications protocol used by kde apps.
I don't know why you've started getting those errors. You culd try deleting your kde profile directory. That will most likely fix the problem.
And if you use ked apps frequently you might want to add "LD_BIND_NOW=true kdeinit" to your .xinitrc(assuming you start fluxbox with startx). That will get rid of the errors you normaly see when running kde apps from a terminal and also make them start a little faster.

What's the permissions on the file /home/tiago/.ICEauthority? You probably need to change them. All you ever wanted to know about DCOP (Desktop COmmunication Protocol) is here.

i gave a look in the .ICEautority and strangely it was owned by the root. ?
i changed it and worked normal again, but i make no idea how did this happen... |
