|
|
Hi everybody,
I have read all the topics in the Gentoo forums about this and even searched google for it,
but I can't get apache to load files from a fat32-partition which I have mounted with the following options in /etc/fstab:
rw,noauto,users,umask=0 0 0
I have also tried s.th. like gid=0000 and uid=0000
but it wouldn't work.
I know that chmod doesn't work on fat32 partitions, but the umask should do it.
Yet apache always tells me that I don't have the necessary permissions to access the directory.
Maybe you have some more hints for me.
Thank you in advance
Mat

Well, simple solution.
I just had to restart my computer.
Just umount and then mount again didn't seem to work.
