|
|
ive made my menus 100% from scratch. And 99% of everything works great. All but 1 thing is working on my menus. I created a Menu for my games. And one game for some reason does NOT even show up in the menu. My "games.menu" looks like this:
Code: | "Games"
"TacticalOps" NULL exec "tacticalops"
"Miniature Golf" NULL exec "kolf %U"
"Poker" NULL exec "kpoker" |
Miniature Golf and Poker show and run fine.
But tacticalops does not even show up in the menu.
Anyone have any suggestions to why this ONE item doesn't show up? |

I just use e16menuedit which is a gui menu editor. That might not be your thing though... |

I'm not 100% sure about this, but i must say: probably isn't a problem, it's a feature.
Why?
I don't know exactly if hapens with everyone or if it's a configurable option, but with me if i do a wrong "shortcut" with a invalid FOO in exec "FOO" the menu entry will not show.
Does "tacticalops" runs fine in a terminal emulator? |

The only time a menu entry will not show up in e is if the entry is incorrect. Is the name of the excecutable tacticalops? In other words, is that the command you use from a terminal to launch it ? _________________ "You can lead a horticulture but you can't make her think" ~ Dorothy Parker

I don't think that is true really, because i have messed up the command in the menu file. And the menus still show the title. They just dont work
And yes tacticalops is the command to start the game. It works fine through aterm. i have tried to use that e menu editor, and that program shows the name of the game, and the exec is right. It still does NOT show up in the menu tho.
Could some sort of flag be causing this problem? |
