| I have installed gentoo 2004.1 with 2.4.26 kernel. I have also installed the newest nvidia drivers (i have geforce 4 440MX) and the problem is that i have no hardware acceleration ("hardware acceleration: no it writes"). in glxgears i have only 60 fps !!!!! How can i get the hardware acceleration???? |

do you use the nvidia driver for X or do you still have the "nv" driver active?
did you swith to the nvidia opengl drivers?

i use nvidia not nv
how do i switch to opengl-update nvidia????? |

opengl-update nvidia is correct.
