What's up with GCC? How come it can't create executables? _________________ It is the fate of operating systems to become free.

Ok I kinda found out what's wrong. I needed Xcode 1.5 installed. So now I've reinstalled gentoo with Xcode 1.5 and still I get the same problem. How do I fix this?
Thanks _________________ It is the fate of operating systems to become free.

Hmm now portage won't compile.
Code: | emerge portage
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) sys-apps/portage-2.0.50-r11 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) portage-2.0.50-r11.tar.bz2

The only versions of portage that will work with OSX are the 2.0.51 series. I would recommend installing 2.0.51_rc1 or waiting for the next version of the installer (which will be coming out soon). |
