Anyway to use temp files from ed2k-gtk-gui in amule?

I'm not getting enough sources with ed2k-gtk-gui and the newest core. I've heard some good things about amule. I emerged it and pointed the temp file location to my old ed2k-gtk-gui temp location, but it doesn't recognize any of the parts. Does amule do something differently?

Any help would be appreciated,

i think you have to move all your temp files to the new amule's temp directory (and restart amule)
