I got the 2D/3D part working fine... but have serious problems with TV-Out.
I belive that ive tried most of the possible combinations that fglrxconfig provide (and lots of manual tweaking).
Still i get no signal on the TV Out.
I always seam to end up with this error message :
(WW) fglrx: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:2:0:1) found
(EE) fglrx(0): Failed to detect TV info using BIOS
So, if anyone know how to bypass this (and force tvout) please tell me.
Or if you got a working tvout on your 9800-x800 card, please dump your config here.

foursently i am quite imune to this.
i would help but i don't have a linux machine with a 9800 chipset. |

Yes, you heard right. Wonder why they dont fix this issue, im quite tired of having to switch to console to be able to use tvout.
im now running ati-drivers(and extra) 8.10.19
and xorg-x11 6.8.2-r1
ive tried to inform ati about this issue, but they seam to ignore it.
if they arnt able to make descent drivers themself, why cant they assisst the open source community?!?! |

hi
how did you get your card to work?? can you post your xorg.conf please?
my xorg goes black and freezes but I can still access it via SSH
x700 card, mainboard is a ASUS P5GDC Deluxe with Intels 915P chipset, kernel and ati-drivers are the most recent ~x86 ones.
