It seems like if it doesnt find the opengl library which should at least be installed as a dependency
Install that or remve the opengl USE-flag. Cant name the package which gives you it, cant check that since I´m not on the right computer
I wouldnt actually disable opengl if I was you |

I have solved the problem... I was trying to set ati drivers and could not do it. At time of setting ati driver i used . Now i checked opengl-update --get-implementation was showing ati. Currently i am using veas drivers.
Then i set | Code: | | opengl-update xorg-x11 |
and then emerged vlc and done successfuly.
I think opengl libraries were used by ati and i was using veas that could have caused the problem.

I think something is screwy in the recent xorg-x11 update packages, because I'm having this same error building vlc and wxGTK. It can't find the OpenGL libraries. Nothing else has changed...
I'm using nvidia openGL interface, but when i changed to:
opengl-update xorg-x11
it didn't make a difference. Same errors.
