So.. anybody know what the command is off hand to make an HFS or HFS+ partition in gentoo? I'd like to make the partitions b4 I try to install OS X back on this thing (yeah, I know I'll have problems w/ booting and will have to run ybin -v to get it back again) so that I possibly let it try to erase gentoo after I FINALLY got it working -_-
Also, since I found out how to get OS X to use a swapfile from a different partition than the one it's installed on, anybody know if gentoo can use an HFS or UFS filesystem swap if I have support for the system build into my kernel? (OS X can only use HFS, HFS+ and UFS) _________________ an apple a day keeps the blue screen away ^_^ |

The new kernel has the support for HFS and HFS+ filesystems. I have HFS+ partition mounted on my oldWorld machine.
Also there are hfsutils and hfsplusutils or something like that. So I suppose you shouldn't have too much trouble with creating a mac partition. |
