Hello,

I can't get my monitor to 1280x1024@85Hz on X. I know it can be done, as that's what I run on for framebuffer and Windows. X, however, insists on setting it at 60Hz. In fact, if xrandr is to believed, X thinks that 60Hz is the maximum it can run at for 1280x1024.

If I make a custom modeline, X throws it out as "out of range" and goes to the next available resolution, which is 1024x768.

How can I force X to run at 1024x1024@85?

EDIT: My bad, my monitor has a higher horizontal refresh than vertical refresh (strangely), and my horizrefresh settings were constricting the refresh rate. As a solution, I removed all the lines dealing with refresh rates, and let it autodetect. It works.
