Block mouse movement

Hi all,

I have E0.16.7.1 and sometimes I'm just looking at my monitor, reading some pdf and I don't want the mouse pointer to be moving. However, I just sometimes move the mouse to the edge of the monitor and it changes desktop. I want to have that behaviour and I want to have multiple desktops but I'd like to have a way to block mouse movement (key combo). Does anybody know how to do this?

Thanks. It' d be something like that but I would like to block mouse movement. Something like the following. I move the mouse and it moves. Then I press e.g. CTRL-ALT-m and it blocks the mouse movement so that even if I move the mouse the pointer is still. then after CTRL-ALT-m the mouse behaviour comes back to normal.
